Hamilton’s career spans product development, sales and training management positions with both consumer electronics manufacturers and systems integration companies. During his 11-year tenure as Niles Audio Corporation’s Tech Support Manager, Hamilton established himself as an industry leader.

In his new role, Hamilton will be charged with the task of doubling the size of SnapAV’s technical support team these next 12 months. He will also handle the development of informational documents including FAQS and technical support bulletins.

SnapAV Shelters Surveillance DVR Customers from Worldwide Hard Drive Shortage Caused by Thailand Flooding; Acquires Hard Drive Stockpile during Early Stages of Crisis; Vows “No Dealer Surcharges”

Charlotte, NC – November 29, 2011 – SnapAV, a manufacturer and exclusive source of more than 1,000 solutions for the custom and commercial AV channels in the US and Canada, has procured a stockpile of hard drives at premium costs in anticipation of the world-wide shortage caused by the recent Thailand flooding.

SnapAV uses the hard drives in its surveillance DVRs. According to SnapAV Marketing Vice President Adam Levy, even though the company paid prices higher than usual for the drives, it is committed to not imposing any surcharges on its DVRs.

“In bringing our surveillance line to market this past summer, we collaborated extensively with our Dealer Council to make certain that the products and pricing were where they (dealers) needed them to be. We will maintain that pricing so that dealers can carry on business as usual – unaffected by these fluctuations in the supply chain,” says Levy.

SnapAV’s expanding Wirepath surveillance line-up currently consists of 8 cameras (dome and bullet styles at 4 levels of performance), and 4 Digital Video Recorders (2 platforms: basic and advanced) with free supporting iPad, iPhone and Android Apps.
