Equipped with AudioControl’s unique patent-pending AccuBASS™ circuitry, the Rialto 400 rejuvenates the bass response lost in most digital compression schemes and brings it back to the signal path. This results in a richer and fuller audio performance with better bass and mid-bass response often missing in today’s compressed music. The net effect is that the audience will enjoy a more complete listening experience and hear music much closer to the way the artist intended.

The Rialto 400 has an array of digital and analog inputs, including PCM to connect with digital audio outputs from televisions and a 12V trigger for use with control and automation systems. Toslink, coaxial, line level RCA, 1/8″ audio and speaker level inputs for interfacing with source units without line level are included in the specification. This plethora of inputs eliminates the need for additional expensive outboard components thus making it the most flexible product of its kind.

In order to keep these inputs systemized, the Rialto 400 utilizes AudioControl’s SMART Signal Sensing, which allows the user to prioritize which input to use based on personal preference. When the system is turned on, it is configured to automatically search for the preferred active signal and decipher the appropriate processor needed in communication with one of the system’s digital or analog inputs. For example, if a homeowner decides to switch from using a separate distributed audio system within the home to his or her integrated Sonos® Connect set-up, the Rialto 400 will instantly recognize the change and immediately switch to using the connected digital audio input used by the Sonos®.

The Rialto 400 also features an integrated headphone jack to allow it to be used in other applications such as gaming systems or with personal audio products such as headphones and iDevices.

The Rialto 400 will be available through AudioControl authorized dealers and will begin shipping in February 2013. The product is designed, engineered and manufactured in the United States and is backed by a 5-year warranty. The suggested client price for the Rialto 400 is $799 and allows custom audio installers to maximize the audio performance of their clients installations by “making good sound great”.

Jeff Boccaccio & Derek Flickinger Uncovers the entire HDMI Technology in New Book

The 4TV consoles are designed to fit directly under the TV and feature, patent-pending H.A.R.T. (High Aspect Ratio Transducer) driver technology, Dolby Digital, DTS, instant connection for an optional Apple® Airport Express®, Bluetooth® audio streaming with the CSR® aptX® codec, multiple Surround mode and EQ settings, including an Audiologist approved Voice Intelligibility Enhancement setting, as well as a host of additional inputs and settings, all selected by touch sensitive controls. The 4TV 2112 has an MSRP of $1999.99, the two-piece 4TV 5122 will retail for $3999.

EVA
EVA (EnVironmental Audio) is an impressive collection of eco-friendly and hip tabletop audio solutions. EVA Music Systems deliver powerful performance from a compact size and are thoughtfully designed to maximize the use of recyclable, renewable and biodegradable materials. EVA models include a Dock FM Radio with Bluetooth, a Dock FM/DAB+ Radio with Bluetooth, and a Dock Speaker with Bluetooth. All feature a unique woven wool cover and bamboo case, easy touch controls, Bluetooth audio streaming with the CSR aptX codec, a digital optical connection for the addition of an optional Apple Airport Express, and an expansion port for an optional +Channel Speaker for true 2 speaker stereo playback and performance. The initial EVA models carry an MSRP from $199-$399, and will be available in two environment-friendly finishes, Slate and Sand.

Korners (Coming in September 2012)
AudioXperts’ next addition to its collection of unique audio solutions will be Korners, a range of room/designer friendly high performance component loudspeakers and powered subwoofers designed to truly integrate seamlessly into living spaces.

The initial product offering will be unveiled at an invitation-only event during the first week of August of 2012, in mid-town Manhattan. Clare Controls Selected as Home Automation System Provider for Street of Dreams Home

Clare Controls, a provider of configurable and intuitive automated systems for residential and commercial applications, is proud to announce its flagship product, ClareHome, has been selected by Avalanche Electric as the home automation system for its Street of Dreams luxury home.

The Street of Dreams is the most popular luxury lifestyle and housing showcase in North America, allowing guests to get up close and personal with the very latest home furnishings, design features and cutting-edge new products in a collection of homes.

Canterra Custom Homes, a Canadian builder, took part in the Spring, 2012 Street of Dreams, located in Calgary at Willow Creek at Bearspaw. Supporting Canterra Custom Homes, Avalanche Electric stepped in to handle the electrical work and the set up of the audio/video equipment, including the automation system and the home theater.

When it came time to choose a home automation system for the house, Kent Mountenay, president of Avalanche Electric, chose Clare Controls’ ClareHome, the first home automation system managed from the cloud and run on a Mac. Striving to go beyond the new set of usability expectations that have emerged in the last few years, ClareHome redefines and simplifies the user experience through features like its fully customizable user interface.

“We wanted a system that was less complicated and easier to use for the consumer,” Mountenay said. “That was the biggest factor we were looking for.”

In addition to its simplicity for the user, ClareHome proved to be a system that could be easily installed by any integrator.

“Our lead tech had no experience with ClareHome whatsoever beforehand,” said Mountenay. “He hadn’t even seen a demo of it, but, even with no prior experience, it was very simple to install. The customer service with Clare Controls has been great. Any problems he had, they helped him with immediately. To have my tech, who’s never even held a piece of that technology, install it so easily… We’ve been very impressed.”

Mountenay wants to continue to implement ClareHome in the houses his team works on and plans to use it very soon in another project with custom builder Karoleena Homes.
