Jünger Audio Opens A New Office In China

With China now the world’s second-largest economy – and with an economic growth rate of around 9% a year – it makes sense for European companies to have a dedicated office in the country so that they are better placed to tap into this lucrative market.

German manufacturer Jünger Audio came to this conclusion some months ago and after careful research into the viability of a Chinese office it has announced the opening of Jünger Audio China. Based in Beijing, this new office is headed by Miss Jian Gao, a Chinese national with extensive experience in the broadcast and professional audio industry. more

Red-TX Helps The BBC Broadcast The Help For Heroes Concert

Broadcast sound specialist Red-TX was employed to capture the audio for the Help for Heroes benefit concert, which took place at Twickenham Stadium on Sunday (September 12th 2010).

The event attracted more than 60,000 people, included some of the injured service personnel who benefit from the money raised by the charity. It was broadcast live by the BBC, which took its music audio feed from the Red-TX sound truck. more

Steiwer TV Chooses DK-Technologies PT0710M Waveform Monitor For Its new HD SNG Vehicle

Audio and video metering company DK-Technologies has supplied a PT0710M waveform monitor to German company Steiwer TV, which is installing the unit in a new High Definition SNG vehicle.

Established in 2003, Steiwer TV offers SNG services to some of Germany’s largest broadcasters including NDR Hamburg, WDR, ARD, ZDF, N24 and EBU. Its primary focus is local television programming, but it has also undertaken sports broadcast projects including the 2004 Olympics in Athens and Champions League football for Sat1. more

Junger Audio Launches New Products At IBC 2010

Dynamics processing specialist Jünger Audio will be showing the T*AP TV Audio Processor at this year’s IBC Convention in Amsterdam (Stand 2:C49). The device, which is primarily designed for TV playout facilities, will provide Loudness control, Upmix and surround sound processing for up to eight channels of audio. more
