SENSIO and Grass Valley™ to Collaborate Towards Integrated Professional 3D Encoding Solution — on Demo at 2010 NAB Show

Joint Demonstration to Highlight Benefits of High-Quality SENSIO® 3D Encoded Images Even at Lowest Bit Rates

LAS VEGAS — April 12, 2010 — SENSIO Technologies Inc. (“SENSIO”) (TSX-V: SIO) today announced that it is collaborating with Grass Valley™ at the 2010 National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) Show to demonstrate the future integration of the SENSIO® 3D Encoder IP Core with the Grass Valley ViBE EM3000 H.264 HD Encoder. The demo at the Grass Valley booth (SL106) will show how H.264 compression algorithms will be optimized by Grass Valley and SENSIO for delivery of superior-quality 3D images, even at the smallest bit rates required for broadcast or VOD services. The two companies will introduce their forthcoming solution at this year’s NAB Show and will work closely together thereafter to optimize their collaborative solution. more
