The theater was to be installed in the attic space directly over the master bedroom. The homeowner contractually required the noise floor in the master bedroom not increase more than 6dB (NC) with the theater playing at reference volume. more

The client came to us wanting to re-create the experience of their childhood theater-going days aesthetically, while providing a cutting edge visual and aural viewing experience. Best Media Room

Our project was part of an interior renovation. We selected a 65in. plasma, ceiling-mounted LCR and surround loudspeakers, and an in-cabinet subwoofer based on the architectural constraints of the room. We have had excellent results with this loudspeaker setup in previous installations as dialogue is perceived to be coming from the screen with the benefit of eliminating any clutter on the display wall. more

The client wanted to provide a very comfortable user friendly high-impact home theater experience for his family. The theater was the feature room of a recently renovated basement area which included a snooker room and bar area. A special feature for the client was the ability to integrate his 40-year-old Grundig reel-to-reel recorder that he had purchased in Sweden and carried back home as hand luggage. Winding up those tapes again and playing them to his grandchildren gives him tremendous pleasure. more

“Party Palace!� That’s what the client wanted us to create due to the fact that they planned on having several formal dinner and cocktail parties a year at their home. “Design a system that will blow our guests away� was the order of business and we were confident we could meet, if not exceed, the clients expectations. All we needed was a blazingly bright 178in. screen and about 7000W of gut-kicking power to deliver it. more

The space allocated for this home theater in the basement of a new-construction residence was somewhat limited. Fortunately, there was just enough room for the equipment and a few chairs to comfortably seat the homeowners and their grandchildren. The homeowners’ primary audio requirement was that the room be designed so that one could hear the softest of sounds of a movie soundtrack without having to turn the volume up too high. However if they were in the mood to play it loud, it had to have the muscle of a high performance system. more
