This class will discuss green buildings, the issues that they represent for A/V conditions and how to overcome these conditions with proper product selections and new product considerations. The session will also cover how to impress your buyer on green A/V products. more

Draper, Inc. has moved its window shade manufacturing operations into a newer and larger building at its Spiceland, Ind. headquarters. The move increases Draper’s floor space for window shade manufacture by more than 50%. “This increased capacity, coupled with our heavy investment in improved order entry software and automated manufacturing equipment, will enable us to continue to grow rapidly in the window shade business,” said Jeff Miller, Manager of Window Coverings for Draper. more

Draper, Inc. has named Per Ericson as the company’s Export Manager.

Ericson will be responsible for overseeing Draper’s international sales force and company dealings with Draper dealers and distributors in more than 100 countries.

“Draper is already recognized as a global leader in projection screens and related products,� according to Ericson, “and I hope to use my experience to help the company continue to expand market share around the world. It is also my goal for the export department to grow to the point where we are one of the most important departments for Draper, Inc. in terms of revenue and product development.� more

(SPICELAND, IND)— Draper, Inc. has just completed a 56,000 square foot, $2.5 million addition to the company’s Spiceland, Ind. manufacturing facilities. Move-in began January 14.

“This addition will provide badly needed manufacturing space for our expanding projection screen, window shade and gymnasium equipment product lines,” said Mike Broome, Vice President of Manufacturing.

The addition was to Draper’s Building 9, the largest of the eight manufacturing buildings at its Spiceland headquarters. more
