Draper Will Have First UL-Certified Scissor-Style Projector Lift

Spiceland, Indiana – Draper’s Micro Projector Lift (MPL) has become the first scissor-style projector lift to receive UL certification. The MPL operates using Draper’s patented three-scissor mechanism, making it much more stable than lifts with two-scissor mechanisms.

The MPL is designed to work wherever you need it, from small conference room to auditorium to home theater. The MPL’s 2’ x 2’ footprint fits within existing ceiling grids, and it retracts to as small as 5? (not including the projector and bracket, environmental air space housing or closure panel). more

Draper Offers InfoComm Courses on “Green AV?

(Spiceland, Ind.) –During the 2008 InfoComm trade show, Draper, Inc. is once again presenting the “green? face of AV. Draper will present two training courses during the 2008 show.

The first course, “A/V in Green Building: What You Need to Know,? will be presented Wednesday, June 18 from 8-10am, in room MT64. This session will focus on green buildings, the issues they present for incorporating A/V and how to address those issues. more

New Draper Lift for Flat Panel Displays at InfoComm

Draper FSL in Cabinet(SPICELAND, IN) — Draper, Inc. is expanding its line of motorized lift products to include lifts for flat panel displays.

Draper’s new Flat Screen Lift will handle flat panel displays up to 65?, while adding less than 5? to the overall depth. The lift can be built into custom cabinetry to allow the display to “pop up? into a home theatre, conference room or boardroom. The Flat Screen Lift design does not restrict the width of the display, or any accessories that could be used with the display. more
