CLARK INTRODUCES IMPROVED 700 SERIES MULTI-PAIR AUDIO CABLES

Clark 700 Series Multi-pair

Clark Wire & Cable™, is introducing an improved version of its industry standard 700 series multi-pair audio cables. Built for high-density audio applications, the 700 series comes in configurations from four to twenty-four balanced audio pairs within a single master jacketed cable. New to the 700 series is an updated jacket and core construction that improves the flexibility and elevates the UL rating to riser type CMR.

Designed to be an easy-to-terminate cable that is both durable and flexible for studio, staging and permanent installation applications, the foundation of the 700 series remains unchanged. The 700 series pair construction still features 22AWG tinned copper conductors that are insulated with a low-shrink back, low-loss polypropylene dielectric. To achieve low RF/EMI noise and exceptional common-mode rejection, each pair is precision twisted and shielded with a bonded foil shield more

gdynia_stadium.JPG

GDYNIA, POLAND – SEPTEMBER 2011: Located in the port city of Gdynia, Poland, the brand new Gdynia Municipal football stadium is home to Arka Gdynia, the city’s legendary football (Americans: read “soccer”) club. The new stadium is a source of civic pride, seating 15,000 in an environment of cheery colors, inviting architecture and modern conveniences. The old stadium, which occupied the same site, sat only a few thousand fans and had an outdated feel, amplified (ironic pun intended) by a grossly underperforming sound system. To complement the refreshing visual aesthetic, a brand new aural aesthetic wraps Gdynia Municipal Football stadium in clear, articulate sound. D.A.S. loudspeakers receive abundant, high-fidelity power from Ashly network-enabled amplifiers, which in turn receive a perfectly processed signal from Symetrix SymNet DSPs.

Piotr Nowinski, systems engineer at Sopot, Mega Music’s Poland-based audio/visual installation division, led the charge at Gdynia. “Another company executed the design for more

BUENA PARK, Calif.—New York University’s Jack H. Skirball Center for the Performing Arts is the premier venue for the presentation of cultural and performing arts events for all of NYU and lower Manhattan. Since opening in 2003, the 860-seat Skirball Center has been an educational and community building resource, providing NYU’s first large-scale, professional performance space on campus.

Recently the Skirball Center replaced its older analog front of house console with a Yamaha PM5D digital audio console purchased from Scharff Weisberg. “About once a month a client would have to rent a digital board, and it was almost always a Yamaha PM5D,? states Ethan Bade, head audio engineer. “Our purchasing decision was made pretty clear after speaking with engineers who had brought in various consoles in the past, that a 5D would eliminate additional rental costs and save on set up time.?
