TV Magic Engineers and Installs A/V Facilities for City of Mission Viejo Community Center

Murray Community and Senior Center in Mission Viejo, Calif. The purpose of the facility expansion is to accommodate the community‘s needs for meeting and event space. Roland Systems Group announces an optional fiber optic data converter for the RSS Digital Snakes and V-Mixing System. The RSS S-OPT allows users of the M-400 V-Mixer , and S-1608 and S-4000 Digital Snake systems to easily extend transmission distances up to two kilometers. Housed in a robust half-rack chassis, the S-OPT converts RSS REAC data from Cat5e Ethernet to dual-core multimode optical fiber. The REAC protocol allows the transmission of up to 40 channels of 24-bit 96KHz digital audio. The S-OPT is extremely low latency and an ideal solution for digital audio transmission in large stadiums/venues, multi-building facilities, outdoor arenas or any application needing distances longer than 100 meters. more

Sony Unveils High-Definition PTZ Video Camera for Remote Applications

PARK RIDGE, N.J., Oct. 25, 2007 – Sony is expanding its line of high-definition, pan-tilt-zoom cameras with the BRC-Z700 model. This new camera is designed for an array of remote acquisition applications, including point-of-view for live broadcasting, distance learning, image magnification, event videography and others.
The camera can display images onto a large screen in houses of worship, auditoriums, teaching hospitals, corporate boardrooms, and at sporting events, trade shows, and concerts. It can also be used for distance-learning applications in which clear, high-definition images need to be projected onto electronic whiteboards during a presentation, for example. more

Sony’s New All-in-One Videoconferencing System

PARK RIDGE, N.J., Oct. 13, 2007 – Sony Electronics is expanding its IPELA ® line of Internet protocol (IP)-based collaborative communications products with the new PCS-TL33 videoconferencing system.
Designed for desktop use or for small meeting spaces, the new system is network-ready and features a built-in digital PTZ (Pan/Tilt/Zoom) camera, speakers and a microphone in a slim, lightweight body.
