strong>ANTON/BAUER BATTERIES AND POWER SUPPLIES TRAVEL ACROSS TWO CONTINENTS FOR CYCLIST DOCUMENTARY ON CLIMATE CHANGE

AMSTERDAM, NETHERLANDS - Months of perpetual flat tires and busted bicycle chains didn’t stop deepeei Film Productions from completing the highly-acclaimed cycling documentary Going South, which follows two teams of two cyclists each-one in North America and one in South America-who journey across 17,000 miles collectively through 17 countries on either side of the equator in search of ways to combat environmental issues such as global warming and climate change. To capture such genuine and unique footage, deepeei employed power solutions from Anton/Bauer, a brand of The Vitec Group, and the world’s premier provider of batteries, chargers, lighting and other mobile power systems for the professional broadcast, video and film industries, including the high-power HyTRON 140 and DIONIC HCX batteries.

Wembley Arena was converted into a large VIP suite for the event, with the main arena blacked out with backdrops covering the seating area and a stage along one side of the venue. This configuration effectively turned the room sideways and could accommodate up to 4,500 guests. The space was divided into areas celebrating the different ages of soccer. Apex multi-purpose venue, Bury St Edmunds, England

The new £18.5m apex multi-purpose venue in Bury St Edmunds, owned and operated by St Edmundsbury Borough Council, is now equipped with a Martin Audio W8LM Mini Line Array system as part of its permanent technical infrastructure.

After the installation was completed last year by Northern Light, technical manager Tim Carr noticed that with an increasing number of amplified rock and folk concerts starting to appear on the upcoming program of events, a conventional Left/Right proscenium line array hang was required to bolster the existing speech system.

Several sound systems were proposed as potential solutions, but Carr already had prior experience with Martin Audio’s W8LM Mini Line Array, brought in by locally based W1 Productions when they were sponsoring a local band night. Which explains why Tim was soon talking to W1’s Stuart Turvill about a permanent install.
