Rainbow Events AS, a Norwegian production company that coordinates concert tours for major national and international artists, recently added a Soundcraft Vi1 digital mixing console to its inventory. Hill’s Pet Nutrition Primary Healthcare Centre is a state of the art experiential learning facility where students develop enhanced skills, competence and confidence in providing veterinary healthcare. To support their educational goals, the Centre sought a user-friendly solution to capture video and audio from multiple patient care and procedure rooms, stream it live for immediate remote observation and store it for subsequent on-demand review.

The TouchStream appliances receive source video signals from a variety of locations throughout the Centre and encode them into digital formats for live streaming and on-demand viewing on the Web and other devices. Supplied and deployed by systems integrator Design Electronics, the TouchStream units are integrated with a Crestron control system, allowing recording and streaming to be remotely activated from each location. TouchStream’s flexible concurrent streaming and archiving capabilities and its ability to integrate with third-party components were key considerations for the project, and contribute significantly to the overall system’s ease-of-use. more

Audio Visions Delivers Stunning Outdoor Sound for Jazz Aspen Snowmass Festival With JBL VERTEC® Line Arrays

Founded in 1991, the Jazz Aspen Snowmass Festival has grown to become one of Colorado’s most popular outdoor music festivals. Soundcraft digital desks have piloted the sound mix for many leading rock bands over the years, but in the last six months they have also reinforced the speech of two world leaders.

Following the use of Soundcraft consoles during the visit to the UK of Pope Benedict XVI last summer, a Vi1 was again on duty in the Chateauroux region of France on January 20, as French President Nicolas Sarkozy addressed more than 1,000 health workers in the gymnasium of the local hospital in Chatillon-sur-Indre.

Big-City Broadcasting in Small-Town Minnesota with Vaddio Camera Systems
