1. Synopsis describing the project goals, special features, or nuances.

Undertaking the design and construction of this home theater was challenging. Our ultimate outcome for this project was to complete it on time and within the given budget. Our main challenge was the limited size of the room. Our client wanted the maximum screen size solely for HD contents in a 20ft x 12ft room in the basement with concrete walls. The control system needed to be user-friendly and the home theater needed to have three rows of seating with bass shakers and several lighting theme options. The importance of acoustical treatment was explained to our client and it was agreed to emphasize on this issue for achieving decent sound quality with wall mounted speakers. more
