Spring 2014 Stampede Big Book of AV Tour Highlights The Internet of Things and Tie-Ins With InfoComm and ITRA

2014 will kick-off with a very loud bang on January 23rd in Austin, Texas when the Spring 2014 Stampede Big Book of AV (BBOAV) Tour makes the first of seven scheduled stops at the Woodward Conference Center at Wyndham Garden.

According to Stampede Presentation Products Inc. President & COO Kevin Kelly, 2014 tour attendees can expect to see more product demonstrations of new and innovative solutions from more participating exhibitors than ever before, along with tie-ins with InfoComm Regional Roundtables and the International Technology Rental Association (ITRA).  “More companies and industry associations presenting more products and more strategic business-building information than ever before — that’s what our dealers can expect to see when they turn out for the tour this year,” Kelly promised. “In particular, we will be highlighting how dealers can immediately begin profiting from the new era of The Internet of Things.”

Developers and OEM manufacturers gathered at Linear’s Carlsbad headquarters for a first look at the new Z-Wave Next Gen 500 series chip platform, and to attend training sessions geared at helping them get products to market faster and more efficiently.

Carlsbad, CA – November 15, 2013 – Linear LLC, a leader in residential and commercial access control, security and health and wellness solutions, recently hosted the Z-Wave Alliance Unplug Fest & Developer’s Forum session at their Carlsbad, CA headquarters on November 12-14, 2013. The Developer’s Forum & Unplug Fest is a three-day technical event with trainings, networking and a first look at the new Z-Wave Next Gen 500 series. 170 Integrators Attend New England’s Emerging Technologies & Home Awareness Expo

Burlington, MA – Last month, Easy Access Distribution – the New England chapter of Catalyst AV distribution network — hosted their 14th annual Emerging Technologies & Home Awareness Expo at the Billerica Courtyard by Marriott Hotel. In total, 170 local integrators attended the 2-day event.

Brands that exhibited their latest products and hosted training sessions included home awareness & energy management brand enerG, Atlonta, Bitwise, EnGenius, TiO, Luxul, TiVo, Clearview, RTI, Vanco, Vivitek, and more.

Each day Jeff Boccaccio presented on HDMI Rev. 2.0, addressing new features, how they benefit customers, uncovering the details of the new standard, how it will function and what changes exist in the transmission line. For each session, Boccaccio presented to a packed room of integrators that were extremely engaged, making for both enjoyable and informative sessions.
