Marketed under the company’s security channel-specialized IC Realtime brand, this 4K camera provides 4x the resolution of 1080p HDTV, delivering superior image detail and exquisite colors, ideal for large-area monitoring applications like parking lot, railway station, safe city

icrealtech logo_web_ICES Pompano Beach, FL – January 2, 2015 - IC Real Tech, a world-leading manufacturer and supplier of video surveillance products, is marching into the Ultra HD era with its first 4K network camera, to be demonstrated at the 2015 ICES in Las Vegas, NV January 6–9 (Sands Expo, booth #70223).

Defined and approved by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), an Ultra HD 4K display has 3,840 x 2,160 pixel resolution with an expanded color space, in a 16:9 format, and uses progressive scanning at 25/30 Hz. This equates to four times the resolution of 1080p HDTV.

The Company’s 4K camera, marketed under its security channel-specialized IC Realtime brand, complies with the UHD standard, making use of a 12-Megapixel sensor (4,000 x 3,000 pixels). The camera operates at 15 frames per second (fps) and 4K at 30 fps preview, with a suggested bandwidth at 8 Mbps (ensures a smooth live-view, free of network resource waste). High-performance digital signal processing provides exceptional detail, and a triple-streams option technology satisfies various applications demands. The camera supports multi-functions such as ultra-defog, ROI and intelligent detections, face detections, tripwire, intrusion and scene change (sends alerts when suspicious incident / behavior is detected).

Munich Airport: Inonet Selects Matrox M-Series Graphics Cards to Drive One of the World’s Largest Flight Information Display Walls

Matrox M-Series quad and octal-monitor graphics cards drive an expansive 72-monitor FIDS video wall showcasing crisp, high-quality flight arrival and departure content

Matrox® Graphics Inc. today announced that Munich Airport has leveraged Matrox M-Series multi-display graphics cards to power a 72-monitor flight information display system (FIDS). Recommended and installed by local system integrator InoNet, Matrox M9148 quad-monitor and M9188 octal-monitor boards reliably drive high-definition flight and departure information on a 19-meter-wide by 2.30-meter-high FIDS video wall—one of the largest of its kind.

Flight-Information-Display-Munich-Airport-M-Series-Graphics-Cards-410pix

To run the unique installation, InoNet uses an M9148 and M9188 board pairing within six of their Magnius-2 video wall controller systems. Each workstation’s 12 displays have been combined to form an 18×4 matrix, outputting an astonishing 72 NEC X463UN displays at individual resolutions of 1920×1080. With the NEC display’s slim 5.7mm bezel design, the resulting video wall enables a nearly 180° viewing platform on which all 72 displays are completely visible from any front-viewing position. A configured fail-safe mechanism on the displays also ensures continuous operation with minimal downtime and IT intervention.

“The aim of the installation was to present razor-sharp content across the entire display. There is no scaling via daisy chaining on the 72 displays, where each monitor is individually supplied with Full HD content,” said Susanne Gomez, Key Account Manager Digital Signage at InoNet. “Using Matrox M-Series, we were able to realise the requirements quickly and easily.”

Encompass AV Outfits Irish Alehouse With Martin Audio

Square Celt_1 web

The product of a complete renovation and remodeling on the site of an old restaurant near Orland Park Mall in suburban Chicago, the Square Celt Alehouse and Grill features an extensive Martin Audio sound system courtesy of Encompass AV.

A popular sports bar, restaurant and part-time club destination, the Square Celt is run by a family that owns seven other Irish-themed bar/restaurants around Chicago, all known for exceptional audio and video capability.

Encompass AV President Tim Pickett describes the layout: “There are two major rooms, a large bar area, and a dining room with another big bar and lots of booths with tables. We were tasked with providing the sound and video systems, as well as security cameras and some of the architectural lighting.

Square Celt_3 web

“The owners insisted on Martin Audio from the get-go because they wanted a very high quality sound that was reliable and would last,” Tim explains.

“We used 26 Martin Audio AQ8’s mounted on the walls and beams throughout the site. The whole place has lowered ceilings with lots of trim, soffits and beams to give it the feel of an old Irish pub. We mounted the speakers strategically in the best places we could put them for optimal sound quality.

Square Celt_2 web

“There are also two AQ28s where the owners planned a dance area in the main dining room. We supplemented those with two AQ210 subs plus two F12+ and four S15+ subs for maximum low energy reinforcement in that area. They bring in a DJ on Friday and Saturday nights, so they wanted the place to have a nightlife with a system they could crank up and really feel the music, which we accomplished with the Martin Audio subs.”

Square Celt_4 web

The audio system also includes Lab Gruppen E12:2 and E4:2 power amplifiers along with Symetrix Jupiter 8 standalone DSP processing. Square Celt’s expansive video system, so critical to any modern sports bar, starts with a four-panel video wall consisting of large Philips 55” displays in the bar/dining room and an eight-panel video wall made up of Philips 46” displays in the bar area. There are also 14 Sharp 70” displays and 16 55” LG displays with the whole system run by a Vivitek D5190HD 1080p 3D multimedia projector.

Summing up the audio system’s impact, Tim adds, “The owners think the sound is ‘even, clean and crisp.’ They definitely got more than they expected with Martin Audio and it’s flexible enough to give them everything they need in terms of volume, coverage and sound quality. Plus the system is easily capable of transforming the dance area into a real nightclub just by cranking up the volume. They couldn’t be any happier with the choice they’ve made.”

For High-Profile Events Where Huge Screens, Image Quality, and Precision Are Top Priorities, WorldStage Relies on Stewart Filmscreen

WorldStage, the well-known rental and staging company, purchases two gigantic projection screens, adding to an ever-growing Stewart Filmscreen inventory and recommitting to Stewart as its projection screen supplier of choice

TORRANCE, CA, USA – October 27, 2014 – Stewart Filmscreen, world leader in built-to-order, high-performance, extra-large, projection screens for the commercial, rental, and residential markets, and WorldStage, a premiere technical rental and staging company in event and entertainment technology, stewart_logo_sfc08_webannounced today their ongoing mutual support, with WorldStage buying two gigantic new ‘Stewart Large’ category screens, adding to its extensive and ever-growing Stewart Filmscreen inventory.

“While Stewart screens can sometimes cost more than the alternatives and require special care when being used, they are unparalleled in terms of image quality,” says Richard Bevan, VP and General Manager at WorldStage-LA. “No matter where the viewer is seated, they will see the same image quality as those seated front-row center, no matter the projector configuration. With the very large shows we cater to, that is critical.”

For more than thirty years, display technology engineers at WorldStage have relied on Stewart Filmscreen, going back to WorldStage CEO Gary Standard’s early days in the industry in the mid-1980s. As WorldStage evolved in to an AV staging company in the early 1990s, the company began to purchase Stewart screens for rental inventory. Now, the company uses large high-performance Stewart screens ranging in size anywhere from 10-feet x 17-feet to 24-feet x 91.5-feet, with a large number of Stewart AeroView 100 rear-projection surfaces, specialty screens including GrayHawk front-projection surfaces, UltraMatte 150 front-projection curved surfaces, and a variety of other screen surfaces in inventory.

WorldStage chooses Stewart Filmscreen projection screens for their unmatched color-accuracy and brightness uniformity, attributes that allow the screens to be used very successfully in applications where other screens would exhibit hot spots and color-shift. With the added advantage of being the only screen company that can create seamless projection screens up to 40-feet by 90-feet wide, Stewart Filmscreen offers the uninterrupted, larger-than-life images that live events in large venues require. The Stewart ‘Difference’ means WorldStage can offer the biggest and best seamless image, while providing the durability that the rental market requires. Stewart’s unrivaled build-to-order custom manufacturing capabilities also means WorldStage has the versatility necessary to service any live event, no matter how big, unique, or demanding.

We are honored to be the projection screen supplier of choice for WorldStage, one of the country’s most prestigious rental and staging companies,” says Stewart Filmscreen president and CEO, Grant Stewart. “WorldStage continually amazes us with its innovative and impressive use of Stewart Filmscreen products in some of the most creative events and venues we’ve witnessed.”

WorldStage uses Stewart screens in many different configurations on the majority of its projection shows. For instance, a 24-feet x 91.5-feet Stewart screen was used for the Cisco Partner Summit 2013 in Boston, while two 20-feet x 66-feet GrayHawk front-projection screens and one 20-feet x 35.5-feet rear-projection surface were showcased in the SALT Conference 2014 in Las Vegas.

Whether it’s a Fortune 500 product launch, a wildly inventive media art exhibit, or an extravagant benefit gala, WorldStage and Stewart Filmscreen are both dedicated to customer service, diverse and custom solutions, and impeccable image quality regardless of environment.
