PESA as Part of the Serco Team Awarded Position on $4.1 Billion U.S. Army Communications Multiple Award IDIQ Contract

2/18/2014 – PESA, as part of the Serco team, will participate in the award of a new multiple award ID/IQ contract to provide global communication systems for the U.S. Army. Serco was selected as one of 12 companies to compete for tasks on the Communications and Transmission Systems (CTS) contract. The Serco team will provide design, procurement, installation and testing services in support of delivering global, mission-critical communication systems. The team will utilize its experience in the areas of engineering, Operations & Maintenance (O&M), and lifecycle management services to provide a more secure, operational, and sustainable network communications solutions for the United States’ expeditionary warfighters. PESA intends to provide mission critical Audio/Video hardware and software to include its Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC) certified Cheetah Video Distribution Systems for use in Army and DoD command and control centers in support of the overall team effort. The contract vehicle has an overall ceiling value of $4.1 billion over a five year period.

Matrox KVM Extenders Now Compatible with EIZO 2Kx2K Air Traffic Control Display

Matrox KVM Extenders Now Compatible with EIZO 2Kx2K Air Traffic Control Display

The Raptor SQ2804 monitor features EIZO eBlue LED backlight technology, offering outstanding image quality, low energy consumption, and a long lifetime. Two dual-link digital video signal inputs are included as standard and a DisplayPort™ input is available as an option.

When used with the EIZO display, Matrox Avio F125 fiber-optic KVM transmitter/receiver pairs extend dual-link DVI (2048×2048) video, audio, multiple high-speed USB 2.0 compliant devices, keyboard and mouse from the host computer by up to 400 m (1312 ft) over multimode cable and 10 km (6.25 mi) over single-mode cable.

Matrox Extio F2408 Quad KVM extenders separate keyboard, mouse, audio peripherals and up to four DisplayPort displays from the rest of the computer by up to 1 km (3280 feet) via fiber-optic cable and PCI Express® bus-extension technology.

Symetrix Partners with Attero Tech & Stewart Audio to Deliver Dante Ease

AMSTERDAM (NL) / ISE 2014 — (February 4 2014): In a significant development for users of Audinate’s Dante media networking technology, Symetrix has announced that the latest version of its popular SymNet Composer software will enable complete configuration of select Dante-enabled Symetrix, Attero Tech and Stewart Audio products.
 
Settings affecting I/O levels, routing and more will be defined with SymNet Composer 2.0, which gives customers the ability to consolidate operations on a single platform where three or more were previously required.
 
“As a result of the release, integrators will no longer need separate software packages for each manufacturer’s product as well as Dante Controller,” comments Trent Wagner, Senior Product Manager at Symetrix. “Supported Dante-enabled products will appear side-by-side with Symetrix SymNet products in the Composer software and can be managed or configured identically to Symetrix products.
