AMX Acquires Video Content Management Company, Launches IPTV Solution

LAS VEGAS – June 18, 2008 – AMX® announced today that it has acquired Atrium Group Developments Ltd., a UK-based software company providing video content management systems. As part of this acquisition, AMX also launched Atrium’s seventh-generation IPTV solution. Re-branded Vision2 (pronounced Vision Two), the solution is a modular, fully-integrated video capture, management and broadcast system for delivering live, on-demand and/or scheduled video. AMX Expands Endeleo Distributed Media Line with Support for up to Eight Multi-Format Sources

LAS VEGAS – June 18, 2008 – AMX® expanded its Endeleo Distributed Media line today with the introduction of several new Universal Distribution Matrix (UDM) solutions for commercial and residential installations. Those products include the UDM-0808 Signature Series Multi-Format Distribution Hub (UDM-0808-SIG), which supports eight multi-format video sources and eight displays, the UDM-RX02N Multi-Format Receiver, and the UDM-ABB-8 Signature Series Audio Breakout (UDM-ABB8-SIG). The UDM-0808-SIG and UDM-RX02N are the first “Native NetLinx®? Endeleo products to be introduced by AMX, which will make integrating the products with AMX Control Systems easier for integrators. ClairShowco Handles Sound for CMA Music Festival, Nashville with Yamaha Consoles and DSP5Ds

Alan Jackson Performs at CMA Festival’s LP FieldNASHVILLE, Tenn.─For over three decades, it was known as Fan Fair. Held at the Tennessee State Fair Grounds (Nashville), the festival was country music’s way of giving back to its fan base, with a four-day celebration of music, autograph sessions and photo opportunities.

The festival held June 5-8 moved from the Fair Grounds to downtown Nashville in 2001 and was officially renamed the CMA Music Festival in 2004. No longer just a festival, it’s now a stadium show and TV special (airing Sept. 8th on ABC). With 100 hours of concerts featuring the biggest names in country music as well as up-and-coming acts, the event has grown to attract nearly 200,000 fans from around the world. Simultaneously, the event raises money for “Keep the Music Playing,” a music education initiative in local public schools through a partnership with the Nashville Alliance for Public Education. Since 2006, the CMA Music Festival has donated more than $1.1 million to the cause on behalf of the artists who participate in the Festival. more

Dynaco Serves Venezuela’s Festival Movistar Musica 2008 With Powered JBL VERTEC® Line Array System

More than 25,000 people were attracted to the production sites, which each featured eight major international artists from Venezuela, Spain, Argentina, and Colombia like Los Amigos Invisibles, Caramelos de Cianuro, Chino y Nacho, Diego Torres, and David Bisbal. The May 8 event was held at the Zulia State capitol of Maracaibo’s baseball stadium, and the May 10 event took place in Caracas, at the Universidad de Venezuela’s baseball stadium. more
