Renowned jazz vocalist Patti Austin headed the competition jury, which judged the quality of the singers’ vocals, the originality of the interpretations of their songs, their improvisational skills, and their stage presence. Kuehlich scored highly in all areas and impressed the audience with her dynamic performance of Chick Corea’s “You’re Everything? and two of her own original compositions. more
