Huntsville, Alabama – January 14, 2010- PESA, a major provider of broadcast and Pro AV distribution and router transport solutions is now shipping the new Ocelot-3 series for affordable small scale 3Gb/s routing. Based on the flexible architecture of PESA’s popular Ocelot series of router solutions, the compact 1RU frame accommodates up to 16 inputs and 16 outputs and supports both SMPTE and ITU digital video standards for 3G-SDI, HD-SDI, SDI, and DVB-ASI formats. Data rates from 270Mbps to 2.97Gbps can be transported up to 80m with perfect signal performance. Inputs are equalized and outputs are automatically reclocked to SMPTE/ITU data rates or will automatically revert to bypass mode for non-standard video data rates. more
