BUENA PARK, Calif.–A new sound system has recently been installed at the Memorial Auditorium in Pittsburg, KS. The system brings the auditorium performance level up to the demands of its extensive calendar of events. Prior to the new system installation, the theatre had been experiencing several problems: it had not been updated since 1984 except for some “piece-meal” repairs over the years, patrons complained about the system being noisy and hard to comprehend, and rental systems were required for some of the visiting performers.

A pen style and a jumbo model are both available. The pen style features a clip and the jumbo model is intended for the rental market. Both models include a foam lined case. The green laser pointer is designed for situations where red is not desirable, such as bright rooms, long distances, or for rear projection applications. A complement of Clay Paky lighting fixtures has been selected for “Disney‘s High School Musical: The Ice Tour,” a live fusion of songs, dance and team-spirited fun inspired by the pop-culture sensation and Disney Channel Original Movies, “High School Musical” and “High School Musical 2.” The show, produced by Feld Entertainment and Kenny Ortega, made its world premiere in New York City September 29 as part of an unprecedented global tour featuring three companies playing more than 100 cities across the US and locations in Canada, Mexico, South America, Australia and Europe.
