Fairlight Supplies Three Xynergi Systems To Hefei Opera House

Hefei, the capital city of Anhui Province in Southeast China, will soon have a brand new opera house that will incorporate two performance halls and a recording and mixing studio to capture live events taking place in the complex.

Sony to Highlight Full Line of LCD Projectors at InfoComm

Sony VPL-FH300L projectorSony Electronics is highlighting its full line of LCD projectors at InfoComm 2009 (booth # 4761). The projectors include affordable compact entry-level models; units designed specifically for education; mobile and premium models, basic and advanced installation units and projectors designed for larger venues.
The new E7 Series projectors deliver a range of brightness and resolution options designed for small- to mid-sized presentations in classrooms and meeting rooms. The VPL-ES7 offers native SVGA (800 x 600) resolution and a color light output of 2000 lumens. The VPL-EX7 and VPL-EX70 models both have native XGA (1024 x 768) resolution and deliver 2000 and 2600 lumens of color light output, respectively. The new models’ brightness levels allow projected images to be clearly seen in normal room lighting so listeners can easily take notes and review materials during a presentation. more

Chicago, IL (June 3, 2009)—Tripp Lite has introduced two new rackmountable VGA over Cat5 extenders/splitters that provide audio and video distribution over long ranges with no compromise of picture or sound quality. Model B132-004 extends a VGA video signal up to 500 feet from the source, while model B132-004A extends both video and audio. Both models can directly support up to four remote monitors, and up to thirteen can be supported by cascading additional B132 units. Range is extendible up to 1,000 feet using Tripp Lite low-skew Cat5 patch cable. Each connected monitor requires an extender/splitter remote unit. more
