Last month Minicom Digital Signage (MDS), Broadsign and Samsung hosted a Digital Signage Ecosystem training day. It consisted of two ½ day sessions with in-depth presentations on Broadsign, Samsung and MDS technologies. Broadsign discussed its flexible content creation and management system. Samsung’s presentation focused on their reliable, low energy consumption Professional Display screens including their ultra thin bezel offerings for video walls. MDS presented its solutions for media distribution and control which help reduce the cost of installing and operating a Digital Signage network. more

Madison, Alabama⎯Around 1981, Madison, Alabama began to grow from a small sleepy cotton town to a bustling suburb of nearby Huntsville. Cotton fields were slowly turning into new homes, stores, churches, and schools. As a result of the town’s growth, the Madison United Methodist Church started growing as well. In 1986, the church officially changed its name to Asbury United Methodist, naming it after Francis Asbury who was the first Methodist bishop appointed in America. Saddle River Day School Hires Boulevard Pro For Audio Upgrade

ORADELL, New Jersey⎯Saddle River Day School, located in the hills of Saddle River, New Jersey is a non-profit, college-preparatory independent day school accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools and the State of New Jersey. Founded in 1957, its student body of 300+ boys and girls is drawn from 64 communities in Bergen, Essex and Passaic Counties in New Jersey and Rockland County in New York.

Recently, Boulevard Pro (Oradell, NJ) was hired by the school to take on the task of upgrading their existing 250-seat performance space/auditorium in Alford Hall. After taking out the old system, the auditorium was outfitted with a Yamaha LS9-16 digital audio console with MY8-AD96-CA and MLA8 cards, providing the console with a total of 24 mic lines. Two Yamaha Installation Series IF2112 speakers for front of house PA and two IF2108 speakers for monitors were also installed. more
