Saddle River Day School Hires Boulevard Pro For Audio Upgrade

ORADELL, New Jersey⎯Saddle River Day School, located in the hills of Saddle River, New Jersey is a non-profit, college-preparatory independent day school accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools and the State of New Jersey. Founded in 1957, its student body of 300+ boys and girls is drawn from 64 communities in Bergen, Essex and Passaic Counties in New Jersey and Rockland County in New York.

Recently, Boulevard Pro (Oradell, NJ) was hired by the school to take on the task of upgrading their existing 250-seat performance space/auditorium in Alford Hall. After taking out the old system, the auditorium was outfitted with a Yamaha LS9-16 digital audio console with MY8-AD96-CA and MLA8 cards, providing the console with a total of 24 mic lines. Two Yamaha Installation Series IF2112 speakers for front of house PA and two IF2108 speakers for monitors were also installed. more

Olympic and world-champion skaters might have been on “Thin Ice” in a two-part reality show produced by O’Neil Entertainment, but lighting designer Scott Wolfeil of LDG (Lighting Design Group) was on solid ground when he sourced the competition’s lighting complement from Scharff Weisberg Inc.

“Thin Ice” aired live on March 19 and 21 on ABC from the Premier Ballroom of the MGM Grand at Foxwoods in Mashantucket, Connecticut. Olympic gold medalists Dick Button, Kristi Yamaguchi and Katarina Witt served as judges for the anything-goes competition, which paired skaters in five teams. more

CTS Audio Provides ‘Women of Faith’ Tours with Yamaha EtherSound Solution

BUENA PARK, Calif.⎯Thousands of women are expected to meet this year in over 29 Cities across the U.S. for two one-of-a-kind events as part of the ‘Women of Faith’ tours. ‘Over the Top’ and ‘Imagine? tours are two-day weekend events focusing on music and uplifting presentations. 14,000 women are expected to attend each event, taking place at arenas and coliseums nationwide throughout the year. This is the first time that two ‘Women of Faith’ tours will take place simultaneously. East Coast ‘Over the Top’ dates include musical performances by Sandi Patty, Mandisa, Mary Beth and Steven Curtis Chapman. ‘Imagine’ West Coast tour dates will feature Mary Mary and Natalie Grant. more
