Jünger Audio’s Level Magic™ Technology Improves Audio Quality For IKO Media Group

Luminis Playout, a Hungarian company that provides technical services to the IKO Media Group, is using Jünger Audio’s Level Magic™ technology to provide an enhanced listening experience to IKO television viewers in Central Europe.

IKO is one of the leading production and new media companies in Hungary and currently owns 6% of M-RTL, Hungary’s largest commercial TV station that broadcasts under the name of RTL Klub. The Group has 20 channels broadcasting to viewers in eight countries across the region. Luminis manages the technical facility for the playout of 15 of these channels, including six sports channels, two documentary channels and seven feature film and series channels.

Vibrant Design’s Christopher Landy is lighting up the web with his work for six “MTV Unplugged” shows that debuted on www.unplugged.mtv.com. Landy served as lighting designer for shows headlined by Baltimore pop-punk band All Time Low; British chanteuse Adele; LA-based indie rockers Silversun Pickups; power pop-punk group Paramore; sassy, spunky Katy Perry; and the Afro pop-inspired group Vampire Weekend.

The “MTV Unplugged” shows were executive produced and directed by Matthew Mills of Space Station Media. Scharff Weisberg, Inc. (SWI) partnered with the Kimbell Art Museum in Fort Worth, Texas and Academy Award-nominated director Philip Haas (“Angels and Insects”) on an innovative installation spotlighting five works from the museum’s permanent collection.

“Butchers, Dragons, Gods & Skeletons” expands those five selections into multiscreen film narratives displayed in customized environments. SWI engineered and installed the critically-acclaimed project which runs from July 18-October 25 and sets a new benchmark for museums looking for a compelling new ways to highlight works from their collections.
