InfoComm MusiLUX ContestHILLSIDE, NJ – Wireworks put this year’s InfoComm attendees to the test as they took a stab at guessing the exact measurement of the company’s ultra-flexible microphone cable, MusiLUX, which was closely wrapped into a small fishbowl, for its “How Many Feet of MusiLUX Cable is in the Bowl? contest. Andy Seale, CEO of Extol Promedia, a consulting, system design and installation company, was awarded 5,000 feet of Wireworks best-selling microphone cabling as he had the closest guess, without going over. Coincidentally Seale was the very first person to submit his guess on the opening day of the show. more

TV One’s Universal Input/Output Seamless Switchers with flexible field upgradability Made It’s Debut at InfoComm

The new C2-3000 Series offers eight Universal Video inputs on HD15 connectors that can accommodate Composite Video, YC (S-Video), YUV/YPbPr Component, RGBHV, RGBS or RGsB formats. Two Universal Program outputs provide one Universal Analog via an HD15 that can be set to any analog format and resolution and the second is provided as DVI-D. The Preview output is an analog RGBHV signal that shows the selected input as a full screen image preview; CV and YC inputs are up-converted to RGBHV for viewing. The seamless switchers will start shipping in June. The basic model, the C2-3300, will have a suggested retail price of $3500. more

AKG Microphones Selected To Enhance New AV System At Lake Grove Missionary Baptist Church

When faced with the daunting task of projecting one preacher, six musicians and 87 choral singers to a congregation of over 1,500 parishioners in Memphis, TN, Sound Hill Technologies turned to AKG microphones.
