CLEARONE AWARDED ATTORNEY FEES AND COSTS AGAINST BIAMP SYSTEMS CORP., WIDEBAND SOLUTIONS, INC., AND OTHERS, IN FEDERAL TRADE SECRET MISAPPROPRIATION CASE

Salt Lake City, UT – January 6, 2010 – (NASDAQ:CLRO) An order awarding over $2 million in attorney fees and costs (the “Attorney Fee Order?) was issued by a federal magistrate judge on December 30, 2009, in favor of ClearOne.

The Attorney Fee Order comes in the case that was presented to a jury in October and November 2008 (the “Intellectual Property Case?). The Intellectual Property Case was against Biamp Systems Corporation (“Biamp?) and a group of defendants sometimes termed the “WideBand Defendants,? which group consists of WideBand Solutions, Inc. (“WideBand?); three of WideBand’s principals – Dr. Jun Yang, who was a former ClearOne employee, Andrew Chiang, who was previously affiliated with an entity that sold certain assets to ClearOne and Lonny Bowers; and Versatile DSP, Inc. WorldStage, Inc., the holding company for Scharff Weisberg, Inc. (SWI) and Video Applications, Inc. (VAI) have announced an agreement with Steve Gilbard, owner and CEO of Theatrical Concepts, Inc. (TCI) to integrate their substantial equipment assets. The deal takes effect on January 1, 2010.

In addition, an agreement has been reached for Gilbard to act as a consultant to WorldStage as Senior Technologist, in order to expand the company’s technology offerings in new and unique ways to benefit the company’s wide array of clients. (more…)

ATLANTA’S LOVETT SCHOOL UPS THE MULTIPURPOSE ROOM PARADIGM WITH DANLEY

ATLANTA, GEORGIA – JANUARY 2010: Established in 1926 in midtown Atlanta by forward-thinking educator Ms. Eva Edwards Lovett, the Lovett School continues a tradition of excellence with over 99% of its students going on to attend four-year colleges. The private school has some 1,400 students in kindergarten through twelfth grade at any one time. A recent “75th Anniversary Campaign” raised over $55 million in funds to expand facilities, most notably for the addition of a new middle school. The centerpiece of the middle school project is a 500-seat multipurpose room, serving as an assembly space for the entire middle school body and as an indoor recreation facility. JBL LSR Series Monitors Bring Latin GRAMMY Awards Telecast To Life On The Univision Network

The 10th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas on November 5, 2009 turned in the best television performance in the show’s history, honoring the top artists in Latino music. The event, which featured performances by stars including Alicia Keys, Daniela Mercury, Reik, Alejandro Sanz, Calle 13 and Ruben Blades, set a record for the telecast with over 12 million viewers. TV viewers heard a brilliant musical soundscape, embellished by layers of percussion, large horn sections and passionate vocals. GRAMMY and EMMY Award-winning music mixer Eric Schilling chose a pair of JBL LSR4328P bi-amplified studio monitors and an LSR4312SP powered subwoofer to create the music mix for the broadcast and he plans to expand the system for future 5.1 surround mixing projects, as well.
