Hollywood, CA - As the castaways held their collective breath waiting for the million-dollar prize to be awarded, the grand finale of Survivor: China put CONEQ to the test as well.
The much talked about invention from Latvian technology company Real Sound Lab, CONEQ survived close scrutiny during the setup and rehearsals of Survivor: China, to become a Tribal Leader in its own right. As the host loudly proclaimed “Live from CBS Television City,” the scene shifted seamlessly from taped footage of the last Tribal Council in a remote part of China, to Sound Stage 46 at CBS in Hollywood. The 16 “castaways” of this popular reality TV show were all present, the final three contenders were on the edge of their seats, and the million-dollar winner was about to be announced. Two Medialon Manager V4 Lites are running at the new Gaudi Centre in Reus, Spain. The system controls all the AV functions and interactivity for exhibits dedicated to Catalonia‘s famed Modernist architect, Antoni Gaudi.
Opened by the City of Reus, the Gaudi Centre features interactive models, tools and personal belongings of the innovative architect, including scale models of the Sagrada Familia cathedral and the undulating roof of La Pedrera, both in Barcelona. Numerous models and projections help visitors understand the thought processes and concepts of Gaudi. (more…)
Dave Bracey is certainly no stranger to the DiGiCo D5 Live digital mixing console, having used it on his tours of duty with Robbie Williams since it was first launched back in 2002. With that in mind, there can be few better people to give Version 4 software a very thorough road test. This he has duly been doing on Grammy nominated Mika‘s Live in Cartoon Motion tour, where he is utilising the D5 for both mixing and recording each show, the latter of which he is doing on this occasion via MADI to a Metacorder.
