Hall Research Technologies announces today the release of the U97-ULTRA-2, an All-in-One UTP Console Extender, and the first member of the U97-ULTRA product series. This console extender is used to send dual-display PC video, stereo audio (amplified or line-level), RS-232, and up to two independent USB ports to a remote location up to 400 feet away over CATx cable. Two Students Receive Bosch Scholarship for Industry Education

CEDAR RAPIDS, IA, July 13, 2009 — John Hayes and Jesse Ashby have been named the recipients of the 2009 Robert Bosch Scholarships through the NSCA Education Foundation. These $2,500 scholarships are granted to students pursuing careers in the electronic systems industry or a related field.

Hayes attends Columbia College Chicago and is working toward a bachelor’s degree in Audio Arts and Acoustics. He gained valuable, hands-on experience installing sound systems into a variety of commercial settings, and is anxious to contribute to the sound installation industry and work with new technologies and gadgets that are constantly improving and changing the industry.
