150 YEAR-OLD CHURCH GETS SOUND UPGRADE WITH LECTROSONICS

Placed into service to coincide with the church’s 150th anniversary, the new equipment was installed by Sound Vision, Inc. of Elgin, IL and is comprised of components from the Lectrosonics catalog. Electro-Voice sound for Energy Solutions Arena

The 20,500 seat arena is home to the NBA’s Utah Jazz, and is the region’s major concert venue—Reba McIntire and Kelly Clarkson were the first to perform alongside the new system. (more…)

CEA and CEDIA Launch New Committee on Residential Systems

Committee To Begin Meeting in Early December

ARLINGTON, Va. (November 7, 2008) – The Consumer Electronics Association (CEA)® and the Custom Electronic Design and Installation Association (CEDIA) are launching a new committee, R10 Residential Systems. The new committee will establish bulletins and standards for design and installation of residential systems. The new joint effort was approved by the Technology and Standards Council on October 21.
