Pantel in the Shower
Despite having a lousy position in North Hall (N7453), Pantel is still stopping passersby. The company’s weather-proof panels are only a year in production, so Pantel is a little less well-known. But that’s about to change.
It’s all about the water when you’re in the company’s miniscule booth (well, water and the live music funneling over from stage just yonder; it makes the water seem even flashier). The water that’s being sprayed on the company’s displays is a slick graphic, hence the stopping. And the water being sprayed on the mirror-like unit? That’s a water-proof display unit that’s going into Hard Rock Hotel showers.
The company first had the residential market in mind when creating these displays, but in what was a surprising twist for the company, it was the commercial market that took better hold. Tested in the winters of Minnesota and the summers of Arizona, these displays are ready for any climate. Restaurants and sports arenas are taking a look too. Restaurants can post menus outside to waiting crowds. Clubs can pipe live video feed of bands to outside decks and overfill. On the home front, home theaters can go outside, sidled up to outdoor kitchens; or for a Hard Rock-like experience, put Pantel in your shower. The WiFi-supported units will playback that Celtics vs. Lakers game highlights.
