Harman announced that technologies from its JBL and BSS Audio brands form the critical core of the sound system for the United States Pavilion at the World Expo 2010 in Shanghai, China, running May 1 to Oct. 31. An estimated 70-plus-million attendees over the course of the next six months will experience performances in the $61 million, 60,000-square-foot, glass-walled U.S. Pavilion, which will feature four separate performance spaces that will be used for multimedia performances, with live performances taking place just outside in the plaza near the queue.Â
